I do what I do because I hate the word average. |

This weeks blog post is about one of our writing into the days this week. Lacy showed us a website with a bunch of different people holding a piece of paper saying why they do what they do. So of course I had to give it a shot. When I was writing in my day book I was just thinking of certain things I do and why I do them. There is never only one reason you do what you do. This I figured out very soon into my writing. Everything has some purpose behind it. Why do you go to college? Why do you work out? Why do what you do in your day to day life. Why do you dress the way you do? I think it is interesting why we do what we do. It's just something that really fascinates me. I'm very curious why do you do what you do?
This is really great Jeremy. You're right, there's a reason or purpose behind everything we do. This website was so interesting to look through. Everyone was so different and it was really neat to see what their motives were. I love your picture as well. Very creative.
ReplyDeletewow that is really thoughtful, everyone does everything for a reason but
ReplyDeleteI feel like sometimes I don't know why I do it. I also agree with Jordan that is a really cool website to see what others think.
Nice, Jeremy! Thanks for really unraveling your thinking here. Hmmmm.... so to your questions... why do I do what I do? In my daybook I wrote something like: because I want my life to be a counter-narrative.
ReplyDeleteI loved looking at the pictures of people holding the signs and seeing why they do what they do. I wonder how they picked just one thing. I do so many things for so many reasons. Your blog made me realize that! and I like that you put up a picture and we can see why you do what you do. It really helps you get to know someone a little bit more. See what they're interested in, or what they love.
ReplyDeleteI never would have thought to do this. I think it's really cool how this website lets people express themselves and I love that you thought to do it yourself. I like how you used the word average there, nobody is average because everyone has their own personality.
